The running joke around my family is that our babies come in three sizes. Lucas is the small, Tristan is the medium and Zach is the large (some say extra large). They are the 3 Amigos, the 3 Musketeers, the 3 Happy Campers. But they were only together for one week. Zach will soon be going back to Milwaukee with his mom and dad and Tristan is moving to the Philippines.

JB, Tere and Tristan left for the Philippines last night and will be living there for the foreseeable future. Lucas will miss his first-cousin as he was just getting to know him. It will be interesting to see how they interact when they see each other again. I believe they are planning to come back and visit in April of next year. Tristan will be a little over a year and half and Lucas will be nine months old. Tristan will be running around like a maniac and Lucas might be walking. I’m sure that by 9 months, Lucas will be walking already!

This past Saturday, Tristan had his California birthday party. There were a lot of relatives and kids from around neighborhood. It was a pretty hectic baby party. Crazy kids running around everywhere. Train in the courtyard, Jumper in the front, popcorn machine, snow-cone maker, etc. It was a good way to say goodbye.

Mom also accompanied them so she can visit some family and also partake in his birthday party coming up this weekend. Tristan shares the same birthday as Mama (my dad’s mom) so they are planning a big combo bash. I’m sure everyone in the Philippines is excited to have Tristan living there. My dad is in love with him. But at the same time, my Mom is pretty sad that he won’t be around anymore. They were living with her for the past 5 months and she is just as crazy for him. Hopefully, they get to visit often enough that Tristan still remembers everyone here.
