Lucas’s grandma had to share her birthday with Turkey day.

I was looking forward to a really nice Thanksgiving weekend. Lucas’s first Thanksgiving holiday, a nice dinner at my Mom’s house, ice skating on Friday and birthday bowling night out on Saturday. But of course, things didn’t go quite as planned. On Wednesday night, while rollerblading with Koda, my weekend plans changed a little bit. I scraped out my knees and my hands and now I feel disabled. Everything hurts and it pretty much ruined my weekend and everyone else’s around me. Road rash sucks. I feel like a useless lump limping around the house only using a few of my fingers that don’t hurt. It’s taking me a while to type this entry…sheesh. Continue Reading »
