Well, it has happened. Lucas finally got a hair cut. Unbeknownst to me, his Gramma gave Lucas a little trim in the front. No one told me for a few days and they waited for me to figure it out. I, being the observant dad that I am, took about 3 days to realize that Lucas’s bangs weren’t touching his nose anymore. Of course, it was a big joke and everyone laughed when I finally realized it but in my defense, it’s hard to notice when his hair is combed over to one side.
I was a little upset at first, because I wanted his hair to be super long down to his chin. But after a while, it didn’t bother me anymore. His hair is still long and we can see his eyes now!
Here is a before and after:
Before
Lucas looking distraught because of his hair

After
Yay! Look at my new cut!

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!

May 8th, 2006, at 10:23 am #what’s a mullet?
May 8th, 2006, at 6:21 pm #From Urban Dictionary:
Pronounced “MUHL LET”
A hairstyle in which the front is cut trim, but the back is long, left wild and often uncut. Even when the back is cut, it is still longer than the front. It is the sign of the redneck.

May 9th, 2006, at 7:40 am #THAT’S why his hair should have been left as it was. So he would look NON-red (haired)-neckish.
