We are off to Bangkok in a few hours. We’ll be spending three days shopping and touring the city and it should be a great time. I’ve never been there, but Tey has and says that it’s awesome. I hear the food and the shopping are just out of control. I can’t wait.

We are leaving Lucas here with Tita Peggy. He spent the day with Tessie yesterday and he actually did really well. We left him there while he was sleeping and when he woke up, it was as if nothing was different. He was just playing and walking around like the crazy boy that he is. So, I trust that he will be just fine for the next three days. Tessie has taken care of three generations of my mom’s family, so I know that he is in great hands.

We just came back from spending the weekend at the beach in Punta Fuego in Nasugbu, Batangas. All the Garcias went and it was a really good time. Even Mama and Papa, who rarely go out on trips, came along and that made it even better. We all stayed at Tere’s family beach house, which was really nice. This is where my brother, JB and his wife, Tere, got married in 2004. It was a nice weekend of swimming, eating, resting, watching Korean shows, eating, playing poker and more eating.
