On a quiet Sunday afternoon, we went down to Old Towne Orange and let Lukie Dukie run around a little. We were supposed to go to Disneyland but there was a 40% chance of rain and we didn’t wanna get stuck there in the rain. We’ve done it before and it pretty much sucked. Tey took the 5D and did an impromptu portrait session with the little man. We may have to get another one, now! Here’s some shots of Foo by his Mama.

On Sunday, we drove down to San Diego to meet up with Dan and Lisa. We met 3-week old Baby Ella for the first time. She is just a cutie and such a good little baby (unlike another baby that I know, Lukie Dukie :P ). We hadn’t seen them in over a year and Lisa and Dan are doing such an awesome job as new parents. We had the honor of taking some baby portraits of Ella. It’s so nice to be able document the start of someone’s life. It’s just as emotional as weddings and it’s a nice change of pace from our typcal photography commitments. We hope to do more. Here are some of my favs:

I know I’ve been pimping Apple products to everyone under the sun for the past 5 years, but they have seriously done it now. I know it’s expensive ($500 and $600), but, seriously, for some reason, I envision everyone walking down the street using one of these. Am I crazy to think that? Will that actually happen. I say, give it a year, and it will. People were saying I was crazy for getting my 10GB iPod 4 years ago. “Who needs 10GB of music!?! You’re crazy!”
We’ll see.
My Precious:

Amanda and Aaron had a nice winter wedding on Friday at the Knott Avenue Christian Church in Anaheim, CA. Both the reception and the ceremony took place at the church and they did a great job setting up the whole event. They even had these awesome photo booths from Red Cheese. Thank goodness for our awesome California weather, it was a nice 65 degrees outside and we were able to take some great photos outside.
Hope everyone has an amazing 2007!

Shot from above in the balcony of the church.

We took some photos at the park. It was an awesome day.

Amanda has a fantastic and infectious smile.

Young and in love.

Contrary to popular belief, we do have some awesome non-palm-tree trees in Southern California.

Having some fun at the playground.

Photobooth gifts from the guests. These awesome booths are from Red Cheese

Of course, the couple wanted some shots too!

Amanda taking a break from the festivities.

Time to get away from the madness as the evening came to a close.
