Rain could not stop us from another cool urban engagement session! It was cool to get around downtown Long Beach even if it was cold and wet. Thank goodness for good gear! Tara and Phil are getting married at the Ebell Club in Long Beach, CA this coming August. We are so excited because it will be a masquerade ball (and wedding, too!). They have done so much work in planning everything even getting custom hand made masks from Venice! It should be quite the event.

Lucas is growing up to be such a sweet heart. He’s really into kissing and hugging. Approaching his 20th month, he knows so many different things now. He’s still not saying that many words, but he understands everything in his books and his DVDs. I’m just waiting for him to all of a sudden blurt out full sentences. When you ask him “Do you love (fill in the blank)?” He responds with a loud “Yah!” Of course, when I ask him, the “blank” is usually filled with “Daddy”. The video of the moment is Sesame Street,1,2,3 Count with Me. I would suggest it to all of you who have trouble with your numbers. It’s quite the good time :)
Here’s a few photos from this past Saturday at The Oldies’ (Lola Azon/Lola Pat) house in Loma Linda, CA. These were taken by Big Crazy Foo Mama, Bubba Tey.

I’m usually known for my disdain for these type of commercialized holidays, but since it’s a day where people proclaim their love for others, then I guess it’s it’s not too bad. To the two in my life who make me the happiest, I love you. The the rest of you…same sentiment, just a little less intensity :)

It was supposed to rain on February 10, so the clouds rolled out, but there were no drops of rain to be found. That produced a beautiful Saturday in South Orange County. Lindsay and Todd had a beautiful ceremony at Ocean Hills Church in San Juan Capistrano followed by a cool reception at recently remodeled Pacific Hills Banquet and Catering. When two people are truly in love… you just feel it being around them. This was definitely one of those moments.
I’ve been into the look of slightly desaturated images lately. Very similar to B&W images, I feel they evoke more emotion that overly contrasty images that are quite common these days. They may not be for everyone but I just love it. There are a few below…go get ‘em!

In love. You can just feel it.

Tears flowed all day. This was when her brother saw her for the first time, before the ceremony.

The boys. There is a big red barn next to Ocean Hills Church. Cool spot.

This was one cool guy. Only kid at the wedding.

Todd was sneaking kisses all day. Makes my job easy!

Oh happy day! From tears to smiles…you know it’s a good day.

Hug me.

Very close to each other, both Lindsay and her dad were pretty emotional during their dance.
And here is the slideshow from Amanda and Aaron’s wedding in Anaheim, CA. Turn up the volume!
