My very good friends Lisa and Tim recently got engaged and what better way to celebrate than with a photo shoot! They haven’t set a date yet, but it will be in early 2008. It still a long way, but you can never have enough photos. We walked around Old Town Pasadena for a while and ended up in Paseo Colorado. The weather was great and the sky was crystal clear. Lisa was a natural and Tim warmed up real quickly :)

Dude! I was just there yesterday with my family – I was scouting locations to shoot because I have a wedding coming up at St. Andrew Cathedral. Not sure if you know Pasadena really well, but we ended up eating at Saladang. Great images and it looks like they had fun!

February 4th, 2007, at 11:56 am #Once again, amazing photos. I particularly enjoy the ones with narrow DOF. I rarely experiment with people but it’s something I’m willing to shoot more this year and to move away from my conventional subject matter.

i especially like the unique quality of your composition on #2… the separation, but there’s still that connection, weird how it works, but it’s great!
i also love that you’re not afraid to have one of the subjects out of focus… also nice use of the magic hour, that shot really works big time…
