Happy Easter

Hope everyone had a nice Easter weekend. Tey was in Vegas (again!) for a birthday party and came home Sunday just in time to see our little Lukie for Easter. We just spent the day at Mom’s and just relaxed. It was nice. Lucas has been getting more and more attached to us lately and my mom says that he always looks for us and is sad when he can’t find us. So when I dropped him off this morning, he was clinging to my leg and didn’t want to leave me :( Poor kid. It must be that “I love my daddy (and mommy)” stage. But other than that, it’s back to normal.

Easter
Everybody loves Peeps!

Easter
Even at night, Lucas wants to feed the fish outside in the pond.

Easter
New skill alert! Lucas can now walk up the stairs all by himself.

Eudora + Andy

We met up with Eudora and Andy in Historic Uptown Whittier yesterday afternoon for some photos. I’ve lived in SoCal for over 20 years and I’ve never been here. Uptown Whittier has such a cool feel to it, very much like Old Towne Pasadena. Lots of neat shops and gorgeous architecture. It’s definitely one of those Southern California secret spots that I would suggest everyone to visit. It’s just got a cool vibe. We were also able to go to Whittier College which had a really cool park and very nice buildings. It’s about 4 blocks east of the main corner of Philadelphia and Greenleaf. Eudora is such a sweetheart and Andy was a trooper. He even put up with some of Tey’s cheesy poses ;) Just kidding Bub, you’re the BEST! They will be getting married next month and it should be super fun. Here are some highlights:

Extra, Extra!

So, now, many of you have received the first of our weekly emails that basically gives an update on everything that we’re up to. I know a lot of people are not blog freaks like me who check blogs multiple times a day. If you are, welcome to my world ;). So, I think this email will be effective in letting them know what’s going on with us.

For now, we are doing it every Wednesday and from some of the reaction that we’ve received so far, I think it will go over pretty well. I thought about making it a public thing and having people sign up to receive it, but for now it’s a closed/invitation only list for our “special people”. I may change this. This is going out to friends, family, clients, colleagues, etc. We don’t get to talk to many of you on a regular basis, so hopefully this well serve as a good connection keeper.

I leave you with a picture of Lukie: Tears of Joy

Tears of Joy

Jessica + Akash at Pacific Palms

What an incredible experience! It was my first Sikh wedding and I was blown away by the colors, the emotion, the traditions and everything else in between. Jessica and Akash were married this past Saturday during a full day affair. The traditional Sikh ceremony took place at the Guru Nanak Gurdwara in Buena Park and the reception was later in the evening at Pacific Palms Resort in the City of Industry. Being among 600 plus guests was another new experience for me. And they all knew how to party…the dance floor was crowded and bumping all night long! I had a hard time doing black and white conversions. I just didn’t want to miss out on the colors, they were that spectacular. Enjoy my 20 favs.

Almost forgot…My friends Mark and Marissa attended the wedding. Such a cool coincidence! Marissa works with Akash. (see the last pic)
