Totally almost forgot about “Lucas Friday”! I guess the week just goes by so fast! Well, here he is posing with me at home in the living room. I’m sure he’s pretty used to looking into the camera by now. Cheers! Have a great Labor Day weekend!!

We had an open weekend and jumped at the opportunity to relax and spend some time out of town. So we went down to our friend Tim’s family beach house in Oceanside, CA. It was really nice to get away and really do nothing for a few days. Along with Big Crazy Foo and Tey, we joined Huey, Mezzi, Tim, Lisa, Denns, Wendy. Lucas was showing everyone his new vocabulary words like: Nnnooooooo!!!!! and Mmmmeeeeeeee!!!!!

We spent Saturday afternoon messing around on the beach and Lucas had a blast. At first, he was a little hesitant to get in the water, but once he got his feet wet, he wanted to dive in. Even after getting salt water splashed in his eyes, he still wanted to go back in. He also had fun joining us big kids playing in the sand with his little bucket and shovel…too cute.

So here’s to Southern California weather, beach houses, late night conversations, carne asada burritos at midnight, Wii Sports, Mario Party, Guitar Hero, burying people in the sand (see below!), the best entertainer in the world (AKA screaming little 2-year old) and just hanging out with friends doing nothing at all.

Hi, this is the better half of Jan Garcia Photography, Tey.

This post goes out to Dustin Steller who tagged Jan and I. I am fairly new to this and this is my very first blog post ever!!! I am not a great writer so here goes. I guess I am suppose to write 8 things that people might not know about me…so here goes:

What about me??

1. I have this fetish about licking my fingers clean after eating anything with my two fingers after every bite. I just don’t like using more than my two fingers to grab food…just the first two fingers.
2. My real hair color is reddish brown, but nobody believed me until Lucas was born.
3. When I was about 10 years old. My friend accidentally dropped me in a rose bush and some stranger had to come get me out. I was all scratched up for days.
4. I use to eat my little sisters food because she was too slow. That’s probabaly why I am so big compared to her =(.
5. I aced Spanish class for 3 years in high school. When I went to college I thought I could pass the spanish test so that I wouldn’t have to do a foreign language, but failed. Good news, I talked my way out of it, got credit and never had to take a foreign language in college. I am a great BS’er.
6. I am sarcastic only to Jan and extremely nice to everyone else or that’s what Jan tells me =P.
7. My mom and I are neat freaks and my sister is the total opposite.
8. I have a love for cooking shows, cook books, cooking utensils but can never find the time to cook.

Actually, it’s not as hard as I thought it would be. I never posted anything because I was too scared and thought it was difficult. Thanks for reading my stuff!!
