Hi, this is the better half of Jan Garcia Photography, Tey.
This post goes out to Dustin Steller who tagged Jan and I. I am fairly new to this and this is my very first blog post ever!!! I am not a great writer so here goes. I guess I am suppose to write 8 things that people might not know about me…so here goes:
What about me??
- I have this fetish about licking my fingers clean after eating anything with my two fingers after every bite. I just don’t like using more than my two fingers to grab food…just the first two fingers.
- My real hair color is reddish brown, but nobody believed me until Lucas was born.
- When I was about 10 years old. My friend accidentally dropped me in a rose bush and some stranger had to come get me out. I was all scratched up for days.
- I use to eat my little sisters food because she was too slow. That’s probabaly why I am so big compared to her =(.
- I aced Spanish class for 3 years in high school. When I went to college I thought I could pass the spanish test so that I wouldn’t have to do a foreign language, but failed. Good news, I talked my way out of it, got credit and never had to take a foreign language in college. I am a great BS’er.
- I am sarcastic only to Jan and extremely nice to everyone else or that’s what Jan tells me =P.
- My mom and I are neat freaks and my sister is the total opposite.
- I have a love for cooking shows, cook books, cooking utensils but can never find the time to cook.
That’s it =) I hope you guys found me interesting and will give me some blog lovin since this is my very first post ever and I totally want to beat Jan in comments..hahahah!!! Actually, it’s not as hard as I thought it would be. I never posted anything because I was too scared and thought it was difficult. Thanks for reading my stuff!!

I’m like you, neat freak, aced spanish 3 years in HS, took it in college and barely made it through with a C+, and have lots of cooking books from many places and love cooking utensils but only use a small portion of it in my kitchen collection. Maybe we should get together and cook up a feast and use everything we got!…. nah!

Hey big sis. Very interesting indeed. But, I’m seldom satisfied, so a few more questions to ask ya based on the points you made in your post:
1) How neat-freak are you? Are you like Monk neat-freak, or are you just tidy neat-freak?
2) When your friend “accidentally” dropped you in the rose bush, how did he/she first pick you up to drop you?
3) Why did you eat your little sister’s food? That’s not very nice! And being nice is a good thing - it makes you and others feel good! Hopefully you don’t still eat her food. :p
4) Did you talk your way out of the foreign language requirement in Spanish?

Hey Tey! Thanks for sharing your blog with me. :) I have yet to post a blog myself. You did an awesome job! I love photography, it has always been a passion of mine. I looked through a ton of Jan’s pics on his site and they are fantastic!
