Happy Halloween to all you ghouls and goblins! The past two Halloweens have been special because we’ve been able to watch Lucas have some fun and get dressed in whatever the grown-ups decide for him! This year was “Year of the Pirate” and it took some work to get him in there, but he eventually did. He even kept the hat on for a looong time! Quite an accomplishment. Now, he is aware of candy and other kids and just had a blast going around the neighborhood. We went to my mom’s house and we all had some night-time fun. Thanks to all who made cameo appearances: The Milwaukee Peeps via iChat (Di, Zach – the flying monkey and Lille – the pregnant nun), Ethan, Sara, Titale, Mum, Lola D, Danny, Tey and the neighborhood kids. Here we go, it’s November!!

I’d like to plug an upcoming workshop that has helped me evolve into the photographer I am today. This coming March, the ANTI-Workshop is making a return…this time in Las Vegas. There are so many positives, that I can write about attending this workshop and you can read most of it here. But if you want to take your skills to a higher level and push the envelope a little more, just do it. It’s worth every penny. You’ll also meet great people interested in doing the same thing and learn a ton of stuff all together…it’s just an awesome environment! I hear there a few spots left…check it out: ANTI-Workshop

We had a relaxing Sunday and decided to take some shots of the belly before it bursts. Actually, we only had about 15 mins before the sunset and we were rushing out the door to do this. Tey wants to do more in a different outfit (go figure!), hence the Part One title. So, probably, next Sunday, we’ll try and do this again. Here are a few shots of Tey unleashing her inner model with some help from soon-to-be-big-brother Lucas.

This season, I joined up with a few friends who have had Lakers’ season tickets for a while. One of the guys in the group of 5 decided to drop out and I was able to take his place…so that means 9 home games for me. I took Lucas and Tey to the last home pre-season game (which was pretty lame), but Lucas had fun. He kept on wanting to watch the “Ladies” (Laker Girls) dance and when they would finish, he would always look for them. Pretty funny. Here’s a few shots:

We are in the 200 level, not too shabby…this is 50mm, pretty close to our actual view.

We had the pleasure of working with Rachelle Brown of Events* back in August in San Diego and she was just awesome. We hit it off right away and it was nice to get together again for a couple head shots. It’s funny…this shot is one of a bunch of my faves and it was right next to the dumpster! Rachelle, thanks for trusting me on that hahah ;) and thanks for everything! So all you San Diego peeps, check them out.
