So here’s the premiere of The Booth. We set up everything using 3 strobes (I wish I had a fourth!) and a 9 ft. white paper backdrop. Mix in some fun guests, a few sips of the bubbly and you come out with pretty fun stuff! Tey and I took turns shooting as we were still capturing some other reception activities at the time. This is something that we’d love to offer future couples, so if you’re interested, just let us know! All you need is some room for the set up and everyone will have a blast. Thanks to Kim and Jeff for the suggestion and to all their family and friends!
So, here we go! Press the tiny play button on the bottom left below.

October 9th, 2007, at 9:24 am #Too fun, man! This has been on my mind for quite some time. Coming from a fashion/studio background, it is a wonder to me that more folks don’t do this. You could hire an assistant to help shoot that for the day. My D70 has a remote, so you could set it all up and just use the remote to fire everything all night long.
October 9th, 2007, at 12:16 pm #Yes, I agree with Dustin. Let’s hire an assistant instead of the Preggo wife….just kidding… I had lots of fun doing it.
October 9th, 2007, at 1:55 pm #I just love this idea. Your lighting setup is one of the best I’ve seen yet. I would have loved to have had this of my own guests at our wedding. There are always one or two characters that just make these worth the money. I think I’ll go watch it again ;)
October 9th, 2007, at 2:26 pm #LOL at Tey!!

October 9th, 2007, at 3:03 pm #SO freaking fun. Love that idea. If only I knew my lighting gear well enough to pull it off. Hmmmm….maybe I can convince my good buddy Jan to teach me! Maybe?!
October 9th, 2007, at 7:28 pm #Awesome fun pics! You must have had a blast doing it – genius idea.
October 13th, 2007, at 12:42 am #What a unique idea. I can see thru the pics why you too are together, you can see the love & fun in your eyes! This makes me wish I was a real part of your wedding. Are you going to be posting pics of your honeymoon cruise? I would love to see some. Thank you for sharing
