With Tey at home on maternity leave, we’ve been spending a bunch of family time together. It’s been really nice. I especially love the late nights when we’re just hanging out on the couch watching Nip/Tuck on DVD when Lucas is already sleeping. Something that we definitely didn’t do as much when she was at work. And we’ve been able to take Lucas out more and more, just to go do stuff. It’s been fun. Here is Lucas at the Merry-go-round at the Fun Zone, Balboa.
Baby #2 Due Date Countdown: 20 days!

In our “slow season”, it’s nice to do other type of shoots. It keeps me excited about shooting and I get to experience different types of photography and be able to draw some inspiration that we can apply to our wedding work. I have some different projects lined up in the next few weeks, so it should be interesting. It’s also a good time for us to re-organize and see how we can improve our business.
Here is little Baby Hannah. She is now almost 2 months old. I got to shoot her hanging out with her sisters, Chrissy and Terri. I thought shooting babies were tough, throw in two little doggies and you’ve got yourself a handful! Actually, individually, they were all great but trying a group shot was pretty rough. I had a great afternoon hanging out the the 3 little subjects and their Mommy & Daddy (Mimi and Rusty).
Here they are!

I love sleeping babies.

Awake and scared of my lens.

This shot took foooooooorever to set up. I appreciate all you brilliant baby photogs out there….and dog photogs too!

The dynamic duo.

Just like I love sleeping babies, I love resting doggies.

Some stuff around Hannah’s room.

I think everyone will have to agree with me that 4-day weekends are the best! It was a great thanksgiving weekend with family and we had more than enough things going on for us…it was a blast. With Thankgiving on Thursday, we also had my Mom’s birthday on Friday and Tey’s baby shower on Sunday. In between all these, we also brought Lucas to Balboa Fun Zone on Friday and Bowers Museum/Kidseum on Saturday. I think he got used to having Mommy and Daddy home with him all the time…and he kept on saying “Mommy and Daddy, TOO!”
Here are some pics from my Mom’s birthday on Saturday night. We took her to Mastro’s Ocean Club in Newport Beach (highly recommended, btw) and then walked around Fashion Island to see the big tree they have over there. The tree is so beautiful…our OC version of the Rockefeller Center tree. And, I really sense this cool feeling during this holiday season. I can really feel it everywhere, especially with all these families gather around this huge tree taking photos. I just love it! Lucas had a blast running around and even went shopping! I’ll post more photos from our trips to Fun Zone and Bowers sometime this week.

One of my favorite shots of Lucas, EVER! He does this funny running motion he’s excited.

Four generations: Tey, Lucas, Mom, Lola Dely

You may remember little Amber from our session this past April. It’s time for more photos…family style so we spent some time with Mommy and Daddy (Diana and Tad) down by the water in Laguna Beach, CA. It’s hard not to take a good photo of this great looking trio and Baby Amber has got that modeling stare down! She even put a few fists full of sand in her mouth!! Here’s are some fun shots from our shoot:
