Just wanted to wish a happy birthday to my sweetie pie Bubba! That would be Tey! Definitely the much better half of Jan Garcia Photography, the Queen of our household, the best mommy ever and my best friend in the whole wide world!! We met almost 12 years ago and have been together (almost everyday!) through some really crazy times. It all started during our freshman year in college and it’s been a looooong time since then. We have both grown up in our own different ways through the years and I’m glad that the most important stuff hasn’t changed since then…our affection for each other, the trust, our strong sense of family and, of course, our ability to laugh!!!

Happy Birthday Love!

I just had to post this!! Lucas’ cousin Tristan is in town for Christmas. And during our gatherings, Lucas isn’t the nicest boy to be around. He can be a punk in his terrible twos! But there is one time that they do get along. When they are…DANCING! And wouldn’t you know it, the only song they like to dance to is All Star by Smashmouth. Weird. Tristan, who is 10 months older, learned these dance steps for his pre-school dance recital and taught Lucas how to shake his booty. Ok, here we go!

Well, Lucas Fridays are now officially over. It had a short but nice run and is now being replaced by double the fun. I’ll try to include both little kiddies in this new weekly segment, but I’m sure once in a while it will just be one of the two boys. So, here is the debut of Family Friday…I’ll post a few more times before Christmas. I’ll be posting our Christmas Card on the 25th, so look out for that. Cheers! Happy weekend!

We just got a Point and Shoot cam. After a year of not having one (old one broke), we finally added to the family. Yes, I know…how dare I compare a gadget to my children! Calm down :) We ended up getting a Panasonic Lumix FX55. It’s a tiny black beauty with a big ole’ 3″ screen, a wide angle Leica lens (28mm) and has Image Stabilization (IS) to boot. Although Canons are the cream of the P/S crop, we were sick and tired of getting the same ELPH as everyone else. So, we went with something a little diff and hopefully it will be good to us. Since there are not that many of these suckers being used out there, I may give my review after a few weeks. But, I’m sure this bad boy will lead to more baby video clips on YouTube!
