We didn’t really get to spend too much time in the Windy City, so I still don’t have a true sense of the city. But I’m thinking that it’s similar to most major metropolises. We planned to check out the Wrigley Field area, stop by the Threadless store in Lakeview and then checked out downtown (Millenium Park and Michigan Ave). It was a pretty packed day and I wish we had another day (without kids!) to check out the city. Maybe in our next visit. Here are some sights from our day trip.
Wrigley Field, in the north side of the city, was pretty surreal for me. Seen it on TV many times, but it was very cool checking it out in person. There was a game going on too! So there was a buzz in the streets. Too bad we didn’t have time for a game…
Stopped by the Threadless store. We all bought shirts :) Here is was Lukie’s choice…green of course.
And our last stop of the day was Millenium Park on Michigan Ave. Did the usual tourist things with the boys.
My boys.
Me and Bub. I haven’t shaved since my last meeting :)
Lucas and Zach had fun in the fountains. It was fun watching them.
One last shot of Chi-town.
