Elise + Todd at the Fullerton Arboretum

Elise and Todd had a very intimate gathering for their wedding. There’s something about a wedding that includes only close friends and family. It actually makes us feel even more honored to be able to share that day with so few people. It was great to see everyone just have fun and enjoy each other’s company. They had their ceremony at the Fullerton Arboretum. Besides being such a gorgeous location, it’s only 10 minutes from our house. For those two reasons, I love it there! We got some amazing time in the arboretum for some photos…it was really great. Following the ceremony, they hosted a intimate dinner at the Summit House in Fullerton. The food was soooooo good and the views were the best! Congrats to Elise and Todd!

The little old house at the Arboretum was so cool.

Awesome lace dress. Hanging outside like laundry :)

Some last minute touch ups.

Elise and her 3 sisters! They looked fab!

Elise was striking in her dress. Tey and I just love her hair!

Here she comes with her dad. Gotta love the tunnel.

Lotta smiles everywhere.

More happy stuff!

The moms were happy too!

The bridal party consisted of one dad, two brothers and three sisters. Awesome!

This one makes me smile.

The arboretum was a treat to shoot in. Yumminess everywhere.

Another one that makes me smile!

Caught Todd doing his GQ stance.

One of my favs.

The dinner/reception was time to let loose.

Gimme some kisses!

A very cool first dance to Falling Slowly from the movie, Once. It was great!

And one more kiss for the road!

Audrey + Garrett’s Wedding in Dana Point

Had another great time with Audrey and Garrett! Last time I saw them, we were riding the Tea Cup ride in Disneyland for their engagement session. So much fun! This time it was the big day and they looked great! They had such a great group of friends and family, especially Audrey’s cute little nieces and nephew (You’ll see in a bit). They had the ceremony and reception at the Chart House on the cliffs in Dana Point. The weather was great and the view was pretty spectacular. Definitely one of those locations that makes me feel lucky to be out here in Southern California. Thanks you two! We had a blast!

The spectacular view of Dana Point Harbor.

Such a cute scene.

Another cutie pie :)

Audrey coming down with her dad.

A glimpse during the ceremony.

Yay!

We took some shots on the jetty.

I guess it was cold.

Love those happy smiles.

Love this one of Audrey.

Garrett has one of those infectious smiles.

One for me :)

Audrey’s sister giving a toast.

Love these little photobooth signature books.

Another Red Cheese moment.

And another.

Can you say relaxed? :)

And a sweet getaway car.

Some details from the day.

Family Friday #25

On the home front, everything is crazy, as usual. Lucas is growing to be such a rambunctious little dude and Nathan copies everything he does….just great! I can see that Nathan is gonna want to do everything his big brother does and it just depends if Lucas will accommodate him or not. But for now, they are still pretty good together. Nathan is in full crawl mode so watching him just got way more difficult. Yay!

I’ve been trying to catch some of the Olympics. My theory is that the older you get, the more you care about the Olympics. All I know is that 8 years ago, I didn’t care so much, but now I’m all into it. It must be awesome being there. It makes me want to go to Vancouver for 2010 Winter Games. That should be AWESOME! Who’s coming with me?!?!

Check out this video of Nathan’s latest rush. Hope you all have a great weekend!

Megan + Adam in Newport Beach

We had the pleasure of joining Megan and Adam for their awesomely fun wedding in Newport Beach. The ladies got ready at the Fairmont Hotel and then rode on over to the Corona Del Mar Community Church…which is the coolest little church around. The reception was held at the Harborside Restaurant in Balboa. All in all, it was a great set of locations! Thanks to everyone who helped make it such a fun event. Thanks to Heather at Something New Events, Mike at Mission Visual and Joe at Atmosphere Entertainment. It was a blast working with you guys. The great florals were from The Flower Girl.

Here are some favorites:

The beginning of a great day.

Megan looked pretty great!

A little prayer for Adam and the boys.

The little chapel was so nice.

Awesome getaway car! 1937 Packard.

Family Friday #24

It’s been quite an interesting summer for us. Besides a ton of weddings in the books, we’ve had our trip to Alaska, Lukie’s birthday bash and bunch of small trips here and there. I guess it’s all a blur because the two little dudes keep us really busy. I’m looking forward to our upcoming camping trip that I’m planning for next week. It will be a relaxing getaway just the four of us and it will be the first camping trip for both boys. We’ll be camping near the Santa Barbara area for a few days. Can’t wait!

Here’s a short clip of the boys and Tey having too much fun. Sorry it’s dark, but the laughs and giggles are worth it :)
