Kimberly + Stephen at Verandas

It was awesome returning to one of my new favorite venues, Verandas in Manhattan Beach. They have some of the best food anywhere! Kimberly and Stephen were looking their usual best and it was such a tremendous afternoon! They are such a great looking couple and it was so much fun shooting them up and down Rosecrans Ave. As you will see, there is so much awesome color in the area. It was pretty sweet! Check out some quick highlights of a great day. Thanks to Sarah at Verandas, who is the sweetest! and the ladies at Bella Blooms for the great florals. Congrats to Kimberly and Stephen!!

Kimberly waiting to go!

A gorgeous bouquet from Bella Blooms.

A cool shot of the fellas.

Stephen was ready to roll!

Coming down with Dad.

There were some tears flowing.

It hit Stephen as well.

Verandas has a great location for the ceremony.

B+G Time!

Check out this wall…Kimberly looks amazing.

A lovely one!

We got some cool alley time before the mail truck came barreling through.

Great smiles!

Love me some bricks.

Toast time…Stephen’s brother with some funny stories.

The ladies in pink.

Time to dance.

Another fav.

Ashley + Paul’s Engagement Portraits

It was a soft and cloudy day in La Jolla and the light was so super soft. So we were on cruise control photographing Ashley and Paul and had a great session. They even had their picnic basket ready for a bit of relaxation…very cool! Paul is such a crack up and Ashley was so great in front of the cam, such a great combo! Their wedding is coming up super fast and I can’t wait to join them both. Here are a few from the day:

Family Friday #26

Three-year-old Lucas is a pretty complex little dude. He’s got so many different sides to him now that he’s able to do so many things. I’ll let the following 3 photos describe our big, crazy boy in his current stage.

9 month old Nathan is a pretty simple baby. I only need one photo to describe our little, happy baby.

Happy Labor Day weekend to all!!!!

Midwest Trip, Day 2: Chicago!

We didn’t really get to spend too much time in the Windy City, so I still don’t have a true sense of the city. But I’m thinking that it’s similar to most major metropolises. We planned to check out the Wrigley Field area, stop by the Threadless store in Lakeview and then checked out downtown (Millenium Park and Michigan Ave). It was a pretty packed day and I wish we had another day (without kids!) to check out the city. Maybe in our next visit. Here are some sights from our day trip.

Wrigley Field, in the north side of the city, was pretty surreal for me. Seen it on TV many times, but it was very cool checking it out in person. There was a game going on too! So there was a buzz in the streets. Too bad we didn’t have time for a game…

Stopped by the Threadless store. We all bought shirts :) Here is was Lukie’s choice…green of course.

And our last stop of the day was Millenium Park on Michigan Ave. Did the usual tourist things with the boys.

My boys.

Me and Bub. I haven’t shaved since my last meeting :)

Lucas and Zach had fun in the fountains. It was fun watching them.

One last shot of Chi-town.

We’re in Milwaukee! Day 1

Beer, cheese and sausages! Yay! We’re in Milwaukee visiting my cousins who live right outside downtown Milwaukee. It’s what I would call a small, big city. It’s pretty chill and most everyone out here just drinks beer. HAHAH. That’s why it’s fun :) We went out and about downtown Milwaukee today and just took in some of the sights. Chicago is about 80 mins away and we’re off to do that tomorrow. Brewers game on Friday, too! Can’t wait for more beer and more sausages in the next few days. Here’s a few pics from our first day:

The street we’re staying at. The houses in the midwest are sooo different from what I’m used to. Very cool, though. I’m loving the vintage feel of everything.

My little bad@$$

Lucas and cousin Zach.

Inside of the Milwaukee Art Museum. Pretty awesome. That’s the boys and Lille in the middle of the pic.
