Hello, Internet!

It’s been a lengthy absence for Family Friday, so this first one of 2009 should be the first of many in a row. We’ve got a lot of stuff going on, so it should be some good ones. We took the boys to Palm Springs about a week ago and took the tramway up to the snowy summit of Mt. San Jacinto. It was more like ice, but either way, it was Nathan’s first experience with the white stuff. As you will see from the outfits, it was pretty chilly! To bad there wasn’t real snow to play in because Lucas wanted to make snow angels. The tramway was pretty cool…but definitely one of those places where one visit is enough. Well, at least for a long time! Here’s some fam pics from the day!

Just got my new camera (Canon 5D Mark 2) and the new buzz is it’s ability to take HD video. Full quality 1080p is pretty ridiculous looking…I mean it’s pretty freaky at first. I’m still getting used to looking at it. The camera is a bit hard to use in video mode, but I’ve been testing it a lot the last few days. Here’s a clip of Nathan babbling with Tey. I’m sure this is the first of many clips to come!!

Just wanted wish everyone out there a Merry Christmas! Happy Hanukkah! And all that good stuff! We are spending the next two days with family and it should be a blast. With the two boys and everyone else who is visiting, Mom’s house is full of life and it’s too much fun. Here’s our Christmas Card for 2008. Hope you all have a great holidays!!!

I’m a bit behind in blogging some work stuff, so I’ll be catching up a ton next week. In the meantime, it’s time for more of us!! Last week, we spent Thanksgiving visiting Tey’s mom in the morning and my Grandma in the afternoon. And yep, traffic sucked. At least it was a super nice, relaxing day. We had time to take some photos out in the hills of Loma Linda. I think I’ll be using this for our Christmas Cards, so here’s a peek of the fun stuff.
