Family Friday #22

We had a great and crazy week here. Lucas’ 3rd birthday party was a blast (pics coming soon) and we’ve had relatives over so every night has been fun. We’re now off to our big family vacation to Alaska! We’ll be gone for a week on a cruise. So, I’ll be checking in here and there from the ship…thank goodness they have WiFi on that sucker! Go ahead and send emails!

Flying to Seattle in about 3 hours. Have a great weekend!

Here’s a few shots of the boys before the big party: The birthday boy and the happiest baby in the world.

Family Friday #21

Our little man took his first big boy shower the other day and he did great! He really didn’t mind the water going over his face at all and kinda enjoyed it. Next bathing milestone would be to go in the tub with his big brother. That should be an adventure!

Tomorrow is Lukie’s big birthday bash #3! It should be a blast for all kids, little and big. I can’t wait to play the trivia game at D&B! Hahaha!

Family Friday #20 (on Saturday)

We’re all gearing up for a few big family events in the coming weeks. Lucas is turning 3 next week and his party is gonna be at Dave & Buster’s on Sunday. It’s gonna be a crazy weekend with two weddings and a party! Then the following week we are taking our family summer vacation. We are going on a cruise to Alaska! It should be pretty insane with 14 of my family members going. We’ve never done the cruise thing, so we’re pretty excited. I’m sure I’ll have a pretty vivid recap of all the events…good and bad :)

Here a clip of the two boys for you. Lucas forcing Nathan to recreate the “Charlie Bit Me” clip from YouTube. Didn’t turn out like he wanted to :)

Family Friday #19 (Sports Edition)

So, I went to the Game 4 of the NBA Finals last night at Staples Center. And Wow! What a depressing night. If you’re not in the know, the Lakers blew a 24 point lead and lost in what turned out to be the biggest comeback in Finals history. The whole game, I knew that the Celtics were gonna make a run, but once it got close I expected Kobe to do his usual thing and take over the game. Never happened. They pretty much locked him down. I’ve never attended such a sad event. Everyone was just in shock. I’m not sure who is too blame…it just seemed that the Celtics wanted it more. Anyway, call me naive, but I haven’t given up hope yet. Hope to be watching Game 7 on TV next week! Thanks to Tim T for taking me to the game. My voice is hoarse and I’m gonna drink some tea now.

Since it’s the sports edition, here are the boys doing their best sporty look! Have a great weekend!

Family Friday #18

This is what I wake up to everyday. Two crazy dudes! Actually, I’m pretty glad that they get along (so far). Lucas loves making Nathan laugh and Nathan is so easy to please, laughing at everything, that it makes it fun for us all. I always ask Lucas “Who is Nathan’s favorite?” He responds with a finger pointing at his own chest and a “Meeeeeeeee!”. Happy Sat/Sun!!
