Baby Adeline

Baby Adeline was such a cool little model. She had the stare down…and she had matching fabulous hair! Not sure if she was gawking at the camera or at me! But I did not have to tell her to “look at me”. Mommy (Liz) and daddy (Dae Gun) had some fun, too and we got some really fun shots. I love shooting in home environments. It makes the session so relaxed and I bet it’s cool to have family photos just having fun in their house. I need a personal photographer to follow me around! Here are a few samples of many, many cute shots:

Tang Family Portrait

Wow…2008! We say it all the time but it’s really been too fast! Hope all had a great new year’s day and here we go back to work…

My last official shoot of 07 was with Jessica and her mom and dad. We took some time wandering the streets of Laguna Beach and also squeezed in some beach action right before sunset. It was a little chilly, so it was definitely a cool change from the typical Cali weather. Jessica was a natural in front of the camera…she really lit up the viewfinder with the gorgeous natural light that we are accustomed to here in OC. And her parents were not too shabby, either. Especially her dad who is the master of posing :) This was a special one since they don’t see each other very often with Mr. and Mrs. Tang back in China for most of the year. So I was happy to shoot them having a good time together. Here’s a quick look at some highlights:

Hannah, Chrissy + Terri

In our “slow season”, it’s nice to do other type of shoots. It keeps me excited about shooting and I get to experience different types of photography and be able to draw some inspiration that we can apply to our wedding work. I have some different projects lined up in the next few weeks, so it should be interesting. It’s also a good time for us to re-organize and see how we can improve our business.

Here is little Baby Hannah. She is now almost 2 months old. I got to shoot her hanging out with her sisters, Chrissy and Terri. I thought shooting babies were tough, throw in two little doggies and you’ve got yourself a handful! Actually, individually, they were all great but trying a group shot was pretty rough. I had a great afternoon hanging out the the 3 little subjects and their Mommy & Daddy (Mimi and Rusty).

Here they are!

Lourdes + Jeff

Lourdes and Jeff were married last August in Napa Valley, but they didn’t get a chance to take too many photos together…so that’s where I come in! When I first spoke to Lourdes about doing a “way after” session, I got really excited. I love B+G (bride and groom) photos and it’s a part of the wedding day that I really, really look forward to. Most of the time, we get to shoot with whatever time we are given…sometimes it’s an hour and sometimes it’s 15 minutes. So, doing a session after the wedding was super fun and relaxed. I’m sure it was weird for them to get back into their suit and dress, but they looked awesome and had a great time with it. These were taken at a relative’s home in Laguna Beach. As you can see, it was a pretty sweet place to shoot. Here we go:

The Duke Family

You may remember little Amber from our session this past April. It’s time for more photos…family style so we spent some time with Mommy and Daddy (Diana and Tad) down by the water in Laguna Beach, CA. It’s hard not to take a good photo of this great looking trio and Baby Amber has got that modeling stare down! She even put a few fists full of sand in her mouth!! Here’s are some fun shots from our shoot:
