Mika and Jimmy : Hotel Del Coronado Wedding

Mika and Jimmy came in from The Netherlands to share their special day with their friends and family. They are two of the nicest people ever! And it was such a pleasure to document their wedding for them. Tey and I had so much fun getting around Hotel Del Coronado down in San Diego. Such a beautiful property and portraits were so much fun as founds some really great spots! Thanks to our great and talented friend Lisa Tewasart for coordinating the event. It was just a great day! Noelle and Fred : Langham Pasadena Wedding

Noelle and Fred’s wedding was a magnificent event at the Langham Huntington in Pasadena. From gorgeous details to the many emotional moments. I couldn’t help but get caught up in the whole thing. Noelle and Fred both looked so great and the whole day was just perfect. We had an amazing team of vendors that made the whole day a breeze. Thanks to Carolyn Chen of The Special Day and her team of coordinators. They always deliver! The Mille Fiore created such amazing visuals with their florals. Just awesome to photograph! Patty and Jason : Newport Beach Wedding

The skies were blue and the sun was out! It was an amazing SoCal day for Patty and Jason’s wedding at the Newport Dunes Waterfront Resort down in Newport Beach. Their story is so sweet as they’ve known each other for so long and they totally remind us of ourselves when we got married. Patty and Jason were high school sweet hearts it was so awesome to see them tie the knot. We also loved seeing Julie & Danny and Kim & Justin!! Stephanie and Thomas : Glendora Country Club Wedding

It’s pretty awesome when we get to photograph multiple weddings within the same family. It’s just an amazing honor for us. Stephanie and Thomas were married at the Glendora Country Club and it was so great to see so many familiar faces. We got to chat with Andrea and Brandon and it was so great to see them again. Polly and Carl : Santa Monica Fairmont Miramar Wedding

We just love being around Polly and Carl. They are so full of life and their great and easy going personalities made their big day so enjoyable for everyone. They had a super cool, small wedding at the Fairmont Miramar and we enjoyed some amazing weather in Santa Monica. We also had the pleasure of working with a great crew of vendors. The crew at The Fairmont were so great…the food was soooooo good! Slomique and Alice of Carpe Diem were on point and such a blast to work with. It’s always awesome to be around great wedding pros. Quynh and Adam : San Francisco Wedding

We feel very fortunate to be able to do a little bit of traveling for some of our weddings. And it is always a treat for us to go up north to our new adopted city of San Francisco. We’ve learned so much about the city over the last few years and we really love going up there. We joined up with Adam and Quynh and the Hotel Frank in Union Square and went over to the Piedmont Community Church for their ceremony. They had a great set up at the church and they also did a Chinese tea ceremony that got me choked up for a few minutes. It was very touching. We loved our stay in SF and want to congratulate Quynh and Adam on a beautiful event! Here are some highlights:

Christine and Kelley : Newport Beach Hyatt Wedding

I had the pleasure of documenting Christine and Kelley’s wedding and enjoyed every minute of it. We started off at Christine’s parents’ house for the traditional tea ceremony. Then it was off to the Newport Beach Hyatt and we couldn’t have asked for better day. I also had a great team to work with. Special thanks to Regis Chen for shooting with me. We always have a blast working together. Thanks to coordinator, Kristen French, and her team who were flawless in their planning. Also thanks to the crew at the Newport Beach Hyatt. It was my first event there and everything was awesome.

Jennifer and Brady : Newport Beach Marriott Wedding

What a treat it was to photograph Jennifer and Brady’s wedding! They had their ceremony at St. John Vianney Church on Balboa Island and then their awesome reception at the Newport Beach Marriott. Candice and the crew at the Marriott put together a gorgeous reception for Jennifer and Brady, complete with the whole Wayne Foster band! Wow, they are incredible! I had a blast just shooting and listening their amazing singers and musicians. They played all kinds of music and nailed all of them! They brilliantly covered Lady Gaga’s Bad Romance and I was singing it that whole week. So great! Thanks to my main man, the ultra talented Ed Atrero, for helping me document the day. And also thanks to all the vendors who all contributed to such a great event!

Anthi and Long : Earl Burns Miller Japanese Garden Wedding

Anthi and Long had their ceremony at the Earl Burns Miller Japanese Garden in Long Beach. Their day included a tea ceremony for their families and they looked great in their traditional Vietnamese attire. San Francisco has been kind to us and we love it whenever we get a chance to shoot up there. It was such a gorgeous day for Jennifer and David’s wedding! I can say that most of the time in SoCal, but SF is a bit unpredictable. We were treated to some great skies and weather…it was awesome. Jennifer and David were married at the Presidio Chapel of Our Lady and had their reception at the The Cliff House. It was great to see some familiar faces and meet some great new people!! Samantha and Anthony : Phuket, Thailand Wedding

It was an amazing honor for us to go to Thailand for Sam and Tony’s wedding. It was such an awesome trip to a beautiful, beautiful place. The wedding took place at Le Meridien Phuket Beach Resort which was a gorgeous resort. They had a private beach and it was an amazing backdrop for the whole event! The Thai food spread for dinner was insanely good! The reception was set near the pools and I just kinda knew something fun was gonna happen :) Congrats to Sam and Tony!! Della and Richard | The Ambassador Campus, Pasadena Wedding

The Ambassador Campus in Pasadena is one of those really fun places to shoot in the area. Really cool buildings and great landscape everywhere. We had a great time with Della and Richard wandering the campus and was able to photograph some great moments with them and their friends and family. Sharon and Naveen : Orange County Wedding

The first time I saw Sharon and Naveen together was for their engagement session. I still remember seeing how awesome they were together. Their wedding day was a great continuation of that moment. It was a great day full of emotion. Tears of joy, huge smiles of happiness and an amazingly jumpin’ afternoon party. Sharon is coming all the way from Australia to live here in SoCal!! And it was an honor to be a part of their celebration. They had their ceremony at Zion Christian Center and the reception at the Double Tree Orange County. Thanks to a great team of vendors! Monique Atwell of A Signature Wedding who was such a treat to work with. The awesome Jason Young of Garner Films. Jason is the best…awesome to working with him. More thanks to Great Dane Baking Co, my mom’s favorite baker :) and Tribe DJ for an awesome, awesome party.

Toni and Joel : Oceanside Wedding Photography

It’s pretty awesome when people from other parts of the country come to Southern California to get married. Toni and Joel came all the way from Ohio and they were married down by the beach in Oceanside. It was a cold winter evening and the clouds brought the dramatic look. And we always loved working with Joan Burns and her crew. DJ Bumps, Brian Bowman, brought the music and always does a great job taking care of the party. Congrats to Toni and Joel!!

Just wanted to do a quick post on Jordi and Sean’s wedding! We had the pleasure of joining Jordi, Sean and their awesome friends and family for their wedding in Newport Beach. Their ceremony took place at St. John Vianney in Balboa and their reception was at the Lido Island Yacht Club and it was a great, great day. We had an amazing pink sunset that had everyone coming out to check it out…it was fantastic. Congrats to Jordi and Sean!!

It’s always a treat for us to go back to the Newport Beach Marriott and it was one of those memorable days where everything went just right. Angela and Ty are such an awesome couple, both so super nice and up for all kinds of photos. We had a great time looking for some new photo spots and we got some of my favorite shots of the year. Thanks to the crew at the Marriott for doing their usual exemplary job making the day just right. We had a great team of vendor, too! Judy and Michael : Pacific Palms Wedding

First post of 2010! Where has the last few weeks gone?!

We had a great time with Judy and Michael on their wedding at the Pacific Palms Resort. Judy looked amazing and she did such a great job organizing everything. Her teacher skills really came out in full force :) It was such a fun day of shooting with two of the nicest people ever! We also got to see some old friends which is always a treat. Our friend Jay from Red Cheese Photobooths was there keeping everyone happy. If anyone is looking for a photo booth, definitely check them out. Also, thanks to Joy Loo from Joyous Memories Events for all her help. It was a fabulous day!

Megan and Chris : Rancho Las Lomas Wedding

Another day at one of the coolest and most unique venues in Orange County. We love coming back to Rancho Las Lomas! It was great to see Cathy and Frank along with their super fun friends and family. Julie and Larry are so much fun. They really know how to let loose and have fun with each other…such a great quality to have. Everything took place at The Westin Pasadena, a very cool location right there in the Plaza Las Fuentes. Pretty cool spots for photos! It’s always wonderful to work with Carolyn Chen and her awesome crew at The Special Day. Their ball room looked so great! Also, great to see Gina and Tommy from Mille Fiori Floral Design...they never desappoint. Here we go:
