Lisa + Bob’s Wedding in Palo Alto

It was a fun trip to Northern Cali and it was topped off with a great wedding in Palo Alto. Lisa and Bob were married at the amazingly beautiful First United Methodist Church and then had a great reception just down the street at the Garden Court Hotel. When I entered the church, I was taken aback a bit by the superb design…just stunning (check it out below)! The evening was topped off by a wonderful celebration by both of their families and friends, who really know how to have fun! Never seen so many parents get down on the dance floor! Check out some highlights of a great day!

Slipping on.

After a few “klink, klink, klinks” they had to do the deed.

I thought this was pretty cute.

Bob performed an awesome serenade. It was so funny and good. AND…he did it in Chinese, Korean and English! So great.

Lisa’s reaction :)

An awesome cake cutting laugh.

And…their first dance. A very slick, choreographed routine!

Leilani + David’s Wedding in Diamond Bar

It was a gorgeous day in SoCal. A little hot, but I’m thankful for indoor receptions! I remember meeting with Leilani and David last year and they were very passionate about their photography so I was honored that they chose us for their wedding. Their wedding was definitely a team effort from everyone! Their friends and family did most of everything from the amazing florals to setting up the whole reception. It was great to see it all come together. They were married at Kingdom Hall in La Puente. We then took photos at the Homestead Museum in nearby Industry which was such a great place to shoot…awesome light everywhere. Then their reception was at the Diamond Bar Center. Their awesome new building is so slick and contemporary. I was definitely digging the design. Congrats guys! Hope Tahiti was a blast!

Just a tad of make up.

And one for road…

Elaine + Brian at the Waterfront Hilton

From the first time I met with Elaine and Brian, I just had that feeling that their wedding was gonna be a special one. Full of laughter and tears. Intimate yet fun! And of course, full of awesome details! Elaine is such a sweetheart and Brian is a chuckle waiting to happen. Such a big guy with an intimidating stare, but is so super nice and so much fun to be around. The ceremony took place at St. Anne’s in Seal Beach and then headed down to the Waterfront Hilton in Huntington Beach. They warned me that their friends were gonna have a blast and they did just that and more! Since our buddy Steve at Golden Sounds Entertainment was in charge of the party, we knew it would be hype on the dance floor all night long! Thanks to Amanda from In The Now Weddings and Events for putting together an awesome wedding! And the florals from Devynn’s Garden were beautiful. They had three different centerpieces that looked great! Check out some of the days highlights:

Elaine looked great in her lacy dress. I’m lovin lace these days.

1935 Rolls Royce!

In the church entrance with Dad.

St. Anne’s was a cool little church.

It was a traditional Catholic ceremony.

OK, do we look alike? HAHAHA They swear that I remind them of their good friend Orville (on the right). Must be the hair!

Time for some B+G!

More Rolls action.

They are so sweet together.

Some hallway action.

We found some interesting spots around the Hilton.

Bridal Party was fun! The guys were a hoot!

Brian did some modeling in the past. Can’t you can tell from his stare :)

What an entrance!

Another fave! So much fun…

The MOH was ribbing him for his modeling…it was hilarious. Brian did an Abercrombie catalog!

It was time to Dance!

Cake time!

My last favorite…right before the garter toss.

And finally some cool details from the day…

Molly + Zack in Oceanside

It was a spectacular day in Oceanside as Tey and I joined Molly, Zack and their families for a beautiful wedding. They rented out a private condo right on the beach and had the ceremony on the back of the property…right next to the beach. And the rockin’ reception was on the rooftop. A really cool setup. They have awesome family and friends who were a blast to hang out with. Molly and Zack are just super cool. They made everything so fun and easy…especially their portraits. I restrained from posting some shots that were TOO much fun…I’ll save those for their private viewing :) Thanks to Joan from Samspson & Associates for setting things up and keeping us in check! It was a great, great event! Molly and Zack, thanks for an amazing day! Check out some of the days highlights.

YAY for Manolos!

Some pre-cermony jitters.

The boys were awesome the whole day.

Molly was radiant.

First look. Tears were flowing.

This is what we are treated to in SoCal.

Tears and smiles at the same time is always a good sign.

Woohoo!

Time to go!

Annette + Arnold at the Newport Beach Marriott

A Hot day for a hot wedding! It was the weekend of freakishly hot weather for those in SoCal but we all managed to stay cool and have a good time. Annette and Arnold’s wedding took place at the Newport Beach Marriott with their ultra cool Atrium. It was a life saver during the heat wave! Thanks to Carolyn from The Special Day. Her attention to detail was second to none, as usual. Also got to work with Jim from Honored Occasions. They did an amazing job on the lighting! Jim was an awesome MC, DJ and such a cool guy. I love working with other super cool vendors…just makes it so much more fun. Add to that a Photobooth from Red Cheese, a fun crowd and we got some really fun reception photos. Check out some from the day.
