Family Friday #10

For this last Friday of March, I present a video and a photo. The video is what happens when you bring two kids to Vegas…a whole lot of in-room nonsense. This took place when I was in class all day. And the photo below it is my new favorite photo of Nathan. Have a great weekend!

Annette + Arnold’s Engagement Portraits

So glad we were able to squeeze in Annette and Arnold’s session before their wedding in April. It’s coming up so fast and it should be a fantastic day. I knew Arnold from college so I’ll be seeing a bunch of familiar faces which will be a kick. So here are Annette and Arnold in and around the beach. It was a typically amazing SoCal day and we were to get some really fun stuff. I was trying to make Arnold do a serious face and he could hold it (see below) :) See you guys soon!

Some treats for you:

Nicole + Andy’s Engagement Portraits

Wedding season must be approaching because the engagement sessions are everywhere! I really love doing these sessions. They are so much fun and so relaxed. I encourage everyone to do them…not only do you get used to my giant camera in your face, but who doesn’t want to act like a model. Even for an hour :)

Well, here are Nicole and Andy! They chose to shoot in one of my favorite places in OC, Old Towne Orange. I’ve been here a bunch of times, and still see completely new things every time I go. I love it! We had a blast just wandering and letting things flow. The light was gorgeous and they were looking hot! They will be tying the knot out in Temecula this coming October. Here are a few highlights.

Destree + Bremer’s Engagement Session

We had a blast shooting Destree and Bremer for their engagement session. It was a great, beautiful day and I’m glad that we found locations that everybody liked! I always love going to a place where we can get totally different looks within just a few steps from each spot. After a few minutes, they were like old pros working the camera. They will be getting married later this year down in San Diego and it’s gonna be a blast! Enjoy!

Family Friday #9

We got back in from Vegas earlier this week. Wow, what an insane trip. I can’t believe we brought the kids to Vegas and WPPI!! Why didn’t anyone talk us out of doing this?!?! Well, to say the least, it was very hard to do anything at all and we barely got to go around the tradeshow, let alone attend any parties…Boo! And let me tell you, rolling around a stroller through casinos gets you some funny looks. And I haven’t even mentioned that Lucas wants to play all the slot machines…sheeeesh. I was able to attend the Business Institute which was great and I got to listen to some amazing people. As usual, I am inspired and we’ll see what comes next.

On our way back home, we stopped at our usual Baker stop, but this time to breastfeed the little chubster :) Here is Lucas stretching his legs and getting dirty. Not too shabby from the Panasonic P/S.

And my new favorite photo for 2008:
