I’m happy to share that Shanel and David’s wedding that we photographed last year at the Pala Mesa Resort in Fallbrook was chosen as one of the featured weddings in The Knot’s current issue for Spring/Summer 2010. It was such a great wedding for a great couple and they had it all. Awesome details, the infamous Scrablle cake and some amazing friends and family that kept the party rocking all night! I love these two. Both so talented and so fun to be around. Tiffany and Ben Joseph had a great intimate gathering at the Smog Shoppe in Culver City. One of my new favorite small venues! Such an amazing little space that used to be a car repair shop. They did an amazing job making such a cool and hip space. They have amazing greenery everywhere! If anyone is planning me a surprise birthday party in the future, you know where to do it **wink, wink**.

Tiffany and Ben Joseph had a Tea Ceremony and a great dinner ready for their closest family and friends. Beautiful florals from Mille Fiori Floral Design, delicious dinner catered by Angeli Cafe and great looking cake by Vanilla Bake Shop. Ben Joseph created a slideshow of their personal images and it was seriously the best slideshow ever! Such a great concept, brilliantly executed. It looked amazing! Hope to share it to you all…it was cool. Here are a few from the day:

I had so much fun shooting with Stephanie and Thomas. Downtown Fullerton is definitely one of those places with so many different places to choose from when it comes to backgrounds and locations. I just love shooting in the streets…picking and choosing where to shoot is such a thrill for me. I can’t wait for their wedding coming up in early 2010. There should be some familiar faces there! Love that, too!! Here are a few highlights:

We spent another great weekend at the Huntington Beach Hyatt. I can see why so many people want to get married here…it really is such a beautiful hotel. We joined Julie and Steve for their wedding and we had a great time with them. Hats off to Steve who gave a beautiful serenade to Julie at the reception. He rocked it! Add to that, an amazing team of vendors and it completed the lovely day! Carolyn Chen of The Special Day had the day rolling just right, as usual. She really is so great to work with! We were also treated to amazing florals from Mille Fiori Floral Designs, one of our most favorite florists! Gina and Tommy are the best, so talented and so nice. Here are some highlights from the day:

A day late, but never the less, I have a fun clip to share! I had a revelation that I should organize my iPhone photos in a separate library from all of our other family photos. I tried bunching them together with our other family pics, but it got too cluttered and the quality was different, looking at them was giving me a headache. So, I created a new library for iPhone pics only.

While iPhoto, was importing thousands of these photos from my phone, they were all flashing in front of me in a lightning fast manner. And the light bulb above my head lit up. Let’s do a super fast slideshow of all these crazy little pictures. I pretty much take a photo with my phone everyday, no matter what I’m doing. Most of it is of the kiddos, but never the less, it’s pretty cool to look back at all of them. This two and half minute slideshow is what I saw through my phone in 2008. This year should be fun, too!
